Family Documentary Photography…
A happy surprise for me this morning to wake up and see I have been featured on Fearless and Framed. I have been experimenting a little with documentary style photography lately and have found it really enjoyable! I have already been incorporating some ‘unposed’ shots in my standard sessions and will now be offering ‘Documentary’ sessions also.
A documentary photo shoot would typically include me coming to your house (or another location) and just photographing you and your family doing what you do! No posed, forced smiles. Its about capturing all those in between moments that we take for granted like cuddles on the lounge, or kids learning to tie their shoes. The otherwise forgotten moments, I believe its those moments that will be the most cherished when we look back on them in years to come.
To chat about your own Documentary style Photo shoot contact me here. I promise you will be glad you did!
“Honestly documented: My personal reminder to slow down. I was asking him to hurry up and get ready to leave as we needed to be out the door before I realised he was deep in imaginary play. Needless to say I allowed us to be late and took a few moments to let him be instead.”
All for now,
